WORDS FROM OUR LORD FOR TODAY

Now godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content. – 1 Timothy 6:6-8

Track & Field Report: We were blessed with a large cheering section at the Dairyland Conference meet – thank you to all those who came to support our athletes! Our girls team finished 4th in the conference, while our boys (with only 4 competitors) finished 10th. First place finishers in each event are on the all-conference team; second place finishers get second-team all-conference. Top finishers include:

1st Place: Cassidy Noeldner (Long Jump).

2nd Place:  Cassidy (Triple Jump), Riley Naumann (100 Hurdles), and Josie Naumann (High Jump).

3rd Place: Lydia Kettner (400M & Long Jump) and our Girls 4x100M Relay Team: Lydia, Rylie, Annie, & Suraya.

This late in the season, it’s great to see athletes continuing to set new personal bests: Leah Bailey (300 Hurdles), Lydia Kettner (400M), Riley Naumann (100 Hurdles), Marnie Schaller (800M), and Tim Oster (Discus & Shot Put). Marnie’s time also set a new school record for the 800M.

Complete results available online at http://www.pttiming.com/events/87931245. This concludes the regular season for our track team. Next week we start the tournament season with Regionals on Monday (May 20) at Colfax High School at 3:30. We’ve got 9 athletes who plan on competing in the post-season.
