Music Festival Results: Last Saturday, 16 Immanuel students participated in the Wisconsin State Music Association’s Solo and Ensemble Festival. Included were 2 trumpet duets, flute and violin ensemble, a vocal quartet; plus solos by piano, flute, saxophone, french horn, trumpet, vocal (2), violin, and cello (2). The following performed music from the advanced list and received the highest score allowing them to participate at the STATE festival on May 4: Adrie Falkenberg— saxophone solo and vocal quartet; Josie Naumann–flute solo, vocal solo, flute ensemble; Aric Reim–cello solo; Olivia Thurow— piano solo, vocal quartet, flute ensemble; Kari Wales–violin solo, flute ensemble; Emma Bailey–flute ensemble; Rebecca Durst–flute ensemble; Sarah Fox–flute ensemble; Krystal Sydow–flute ensemble. Congratulations to all who played! *Update: Kari Wales also participated in the vocal quartet earning a state rating.
